The day started with very choppy price action. It moved sideways in a 15 pts. trading range for the first hour or so, with small dojis and completely untradeable.

The small range kept going on even for a second hour. A pretty horrible day, so I took an early break. I could not watch the chop anymore.

The bulls did manage to break out to the top side of the opening range, but it just felt like buying way too high since we were very close to the previous week high and also the all time high was close.

When the bears finally got a breakout to the low side back into the range and a close below the EMA, with a great bear breakout bar, I entered short. I used 4 contracts and was trying to get 5, 10, 15 points back at the range low.

But the market was very slow and it took a long time to get to 5 pts., so I took two contracts off there and took the two other off at breakeven.

The market tried to reach back to the top of the range, but failed. Then we got three consecutive bear bars and a close below the EMA, so I entered short again. One contract at 5 pts. got filled pretty quick. The second contract got filled at the bottom of the range at 15 points.

At the bottom of the range we got a nice small HL MTR and I entered long. The bears managed to break out and I had to close the trade at a loss of -12 pts. Should really not have taken this, but done is done.
