Notes:

The day started with a bear leg down, then bulls got a strong correction, and bears got a second leg down. Big up, big down, big trading range.

When we got a HL MTR after the measured move got hit, I entered long. I took my first contract off at 8 pts. and the second at 15 since price started to hit sell orders and I was not eager to hold through a big pullback. It turned out to be a good call since bears managed to get a 3rd leg down.

After the third leg we got a HL MTR and a great bull bar, so I took the long. The market stalled and I exited at breakeven.

After that the market just chopped around in a very tight trading range. When we got a bull breakout I entered long. Bears had their chance to continue the bear trend but failed multiple times, so I was leaning that the bulls could make the breakout work.

That trade took forever, with lots of dojis and stacked bars at the top of the range. So I finally exited at breakeven after an hour in the trade. I was still leaning bulls to get the breakout, but it was just too slow and sideways.

Right after I exited, the market got some high volatility and formed a great bull bar, sort of a BOPB of the range, so I quickly re-entered. The market was very fast, so pretty scary, and I took both contracts off at 10 pts.
After all, the market did in fact make the bull reversal I was looking for right after we got the wedge bottom. It just took the market 3 hours for the bulls to manage to break out and make the move up.

Biggest Lesson:

A pretty straightforward trading day, but so much hesitation and sideways action is throwing me off a bit and I start to question my read of the price action. But no harm done today.

Two BE trades that were valid since the market stalled, a nice HL MTR after the bear two-legged move down, and a BOPB at the end when bulls finally got to break out higher.
