Note:
Overnight had a steep spike up, then shifted into a very choppy, tight range. When I got to the chart, price attempted an upside breakout and I was hoping we could get an uptrend going. Instead, price broke the channel, printed a new high, then fell back into the range and made two measured legs down to the bottom of the range. Predictable price action, but it never gave a high-probability entry on the way down.
After that, price got stuck in an even smaller range in the lower part of the wider range. A few aggressive setups showed up, but they either formed right into the EMA or had STT in play, so I passed. I decided to cut the day short — there’s an election here in Norway tonight, so I’m heading to the pub to follow it. 🙂
Biggest Lesson:
No need to torture myself with slow price action every night — if there are better things to do, cut it short and come back fresh. 😉
