Daily Log - September 24, 2025

The day started as a downtrend, and when I got to the chart the wider downtrend needed a new low. No setups that I liked formed on the way down.

After two measured legs down the downtrend played out with a new low. We then got one leg up starting an uptrend, and we had a break and a new high. Since prices did not move back below the EMA to retest an even wider downtrend, it made a second leg up, though it did not quite reach a measured move.

The first trade was a HL confirming a 2EL that formed below the EMA with a great tier 1 signal bar. The context was not perfect since the uptrend had already made two measured legs up, but because it did not quite hit the MM and there was a chance to retest the secondary channel high, I decided to take it. The local setup looked too tempting to pass up. Unfortunately, the trade copier malfunctioned and only filled the Take Profit accounts. I removed all Apex pending orders to prevent them from getting filled, but then the leader account also got disabled and closed all accounts. Too bad, since the trade would have worked out nicely.

Later I took a LH confirming the 2ES that formed above the EMA. The context here was not great with the recent downtrend already played out, but looking at the bigger picture, the larger downtrend for the day still needed a new low. I took a chance on this LH.
