Note:
I started late because of work, but when I got to the chart there was a nice downtrend going. Overall it was a good day price action-wise, with easy-to-read context and a few decent setups. The problem was that there was either an overshoot that made me skip trades, or the signal bar was bad, or the entry was too far from the EMA. One could argue they should have been taken anyway, but I just did not feel comfortable bending the rules that much today after a losing trade yesterday.
Biggest Lesson:
A good thing to take from this day was that I pretty much read the context correctly the whole day. My read of the PA is now pretty solid—not to brag, but even if there are no setups to take, this is just as valuable. It is also important to focus on the things that work well, even when no trades are taken.
