Daily Log - September 10, 2025

The day itself was in a range structure, with two legs up and two legs down. Context was pretty easy, but once again there were no clean setups even when the context was clear. This made me start thinking about how my style of trading has become what it is now.

My approach to the PATS strategy has been influenced by Vladi, a former member of Mack’s forum, who focused on taking just one A+ setup a day on multiple accounts. He only took trades that followed all the rules and was extremely selective. This is what I have tried to do over these months and years. Of course, fear has played a role in why I have not taken many trades, but the search for the perfect setups has also been a factor. Lately, it has proved very hard to find true A+ setups. I know I have been too picky, and there needs to be a split in how I evaluate this, but it has been very frustrating to go days without trades. The few trades I have taken were not terrible but still ended up as losing trades. I know this will even out in the long run, and the missed trades I have logged would have put me in the green overall. So it is possible—I just need to manage to pull the trigger on some mediocre setups to make the math work.
