Note:
The day started with a downtrend when I got to the chart. The channel broke, but the downtrend did not get a retest and instead reversed upward. There were not many setups on the way up—just a few—but my focus today was poor. I was setting up my new 5-minute chart since I will now start to implement a bit of Al Brooks’ approach into my trading, so my attention was more on that than following the price action on the 2K and 10K charts. The chart is now ready, and I’ll hopefully pay more attention to the market tomorrow.
