Note:
The day started with an overnight spike, but the market reversed early and developed into a downtrend. The structure was decent at times, and there were a few mediocre setups, but I didn’t fully trust any of them. The downtrend itself felt weak, and the overall market pace was extremely slow. Eventually, the structure developed into a small trading range, making it even harder to find reliable setups or momentum to trade with.
To make things harder, I wasn’t feeling great today, so it was a real challenge to stay focused for the full session. With summer price action clearly setting in—and this being a holiday week—it’s probably realistic to expect slow and choppy behavior in the days ahead.
Biggest Lesson:
Not every day is meant for execution. On slow, low-volume days like this—especially when not feeling 100%—it's perfectly fine to stay flat and protect your capital and mental energy.
