Note:
Starting to become a bad habit now—another tradeless day. Every day I sit down at the computer and tell myself, “Today, you have to execute if something shows up that’s worth the risk.” But then the session plays out, and once again, nothing gets executed.
Today was extremely slow after I got on the charts. There was a slow, grinding uptrend with a few potential opportunities along the way, but honestly, nothing I really liked—even in hindsight. So I won’t log them as missed trades. It’s just one of those days where setups don’t line up clearly enough to justify taking the chance.
I really hope market speed picks up soon and starts offering more actionable setups. Or maybe this is the start of summer price action already? I really hope not.
Biggest Lesson:
Better to have no trade than to get caught by FOMO late in the session and possibly at the end of the trend. That restraint is a positive takeaway for the day.
