Another tradeless day today. The market was extremely slow by the time I got on the charts, and nothing worthwhile set up after that. What’s especially frustrating is that a beautiful double trap formed just before I opened my charts—a textbook opportunity that would’ve been the trade of the day.
This is exactly why I’ve decided to rent an office near my workplace after summer. Being able to get on the charts right after the market opens is crucial. So many of the best setups happen in that first two hours, and I don’t want to keep missing them just because of timing.
Biggest Lesson:
Timing is everything. Some of the best opportunities come early in the session, and being just a little late can mean missing the cleanest setups. If I want to improve consistency, I need to be ready as early as possible. The environment matters, and so does showing up prepared.
