Note:
There was an overnight spike down that formed a new low around the open. After that, price went into a small trading range and stayed there for quite a while. There was some slight bearish imbalance, and price attempted a failed breakout, but didn’t fully manage to return into the range.
The structure slowly shifted into a very, very weak spike and channel. Overall, the market was super slow.
Price continued drifting lower throughout the session, but I didn’t see any good places to enter. Pretty uneventful day to say the least — nothing I regret skipping, just not much to do.
Biggest Lesson:
Even when the market is moving, that doesn’t mean it’s offering quality setups. Staying disciplined and sitting on your hands is still part of the job. It’s not exciting, but it’s what keeps me consistent and out of trouble on low-quality days.
