Note:
The day began with a clear trading range structure, but after price broke out of the Overnight Highs a couple of times, a bullish imbalance became obvious. It slowly developed into an extremely weak uptrend—with slightly higher lows and higher highs.
Most of the session was relatively predictable in terms of price action, but unfortunately, there were no clean setups, even when the context was very clear. A few aggressive entries did show up, but none that I regret skipping. It was simply one of those days where patience didn't get rewarded.
I'm really looking forward to the market picking up again. The last few weeks have been tough—very slow, with very few opportunities.
Biggest Lesson:
Even when the market context is clear and price action is predictable, that doesn’t always translate into actionable setups. Patience alone isn’t always rewarded—but forcing trades out of boredom or frustration would be worse. Days like this are a reminder that part of being a disciplined trader is accepting the market on its own terms, even if it means sitting on your hands the entire session.
