Daily Log - July 23, 2025

Today was a strange and tricky day. The market structure was hard to read and didn’t offer many clear opportunities. On the 10K chart, the session eventually formed what looked like two broad legs up, but the overall trend was very weak. Price action drifted higher throughout the day but with lots of sideways movement in between.

At times, the market was painfully slow—especially toward the end of the session—and random spikes in volatility didn’t make it any easier. We've seen this kind of odd behavior lately, often tied to surprise headlines, tariffs, or unexpected news.

This was also my first full day streaming from the new office, and everything went pretty well. I really like having a dedicated space to focus on trading. It already feels like a better environment than rushing home after work and jumping straight into the session. Once I’m back at work next week, being close to this office will make my routine a lot smoother.
