Daily Log - August 7, 2025

Got to the chart about an hour after the market opened, and it had already started a nice downtrend heading toward the Overnight Low (ONL). In hindsight, I didn’t see many setups I would’ve taken even if I had been there earlier.

Prices continued trending lower throughout the session, but nothing really showed up that matched my rules or felt safe enough to take. Starting to get frustrated with how few setups are appearing lately — at least the ones that aren’t overly aggressive or borderline.

It also seems like confirmation setups — like higher lows (HL) or lower highs (LH) after second entries — are nearly nonexistent these days. If you don’t take the initial setup, you’re often left sitting out the entire move.
