Note:
Got a very late start today since I was stuck at work. The market began the session in a range, but eventually broke out above the Overnight High (ONH) and started forming an uptrend. There was a nice double trap setup around 10:00 AM CDT, but I hadn’t started trading yet, so I missed it.
After the uptrend broke, the market went into a small range about 10 points high. It slowly chopped higher, and a spike-and-channel pattern was loosely forming — but momentum was extremely low. Price barely moved during the last 3–4 hours of the session.
Biggest Lesson:
Staying out of trades after a long day is always a test, but I’m glad I didn’t jump the gun during the choppy price action we had while I was trading.
