Note:
I started about an hour after the market opened today, since I’m now back at my day job. The market had been trending up strongly during the morning session, but it didn’t appear there were many clean opportunities to get in on the move.
By the time I started trading, price action had flattened out and spent the rest of the session in an extremely weak uptrend — more of a spike and channel pattern. I didn’t see much I trusted, so it turned into another pretty uneventful day with no trades for me.
Biggest Lesson:
Not every session will offer something worth taking. Today was one of those slow, uneven days where nothing really lined up. The important thing is that I stayed patient and didn’t force a trade just to be active. Sometimes the best decision is to do nothing.
