Daily Log - August 28, 2025

We had a slow, weak uptrend that kept chopping higher. A few setups showed up, but it was the usual trade-off: either good-looking setups in poor context, or great context with mediocre setups. I didn’t take anything on the way up. I keep telling myself to start taking more of the mediocre setups, but it’s hard to pull the trigger — I keep hoping something better will show, and it rarely does. Feels like either the days of clean setups are gone or I’m getting pickier; not sure which. Overall, today was better than yesterday, but it really slowed down toward the end of the session.

Later in the session the uptrend got stronger with minimal pullbacks to the EMA and small bars just chopping higher — no real way to enter.
