Second Entry Short - KEP - Loss

I took this 2ES setup off both the EMA and the trendline, with two key entry points lining up. There had been a small break of the larger channel, which could have signaled the downtrend was played out—but the break was so minor that I leaned toward the trend still being valid.

One concern was that the short-term uptrend didn’t form a new high, which made the context a bit uncertain. Still, the signal bar was strong, so I took the trade, betting that the downtrend was still active.

In hindsight, the small break and the lack of a new high in the STUT should have been red flags. I took a calculated chance, but it didn’t work out.
