The day started with a pretty strong bull leg up. When we got a High 1 Buy bull flag with a great bull bar, I took a chance on a long. I was aiming for 1R and 2R, but price lost momentum, so I took 1 contract off at 0.5R (+5 pts).
We then got a very deep pullback and I decided to take the 2nd contract off at BE. I was not ready to try and survive a big pullback this early.
After this price became pretty hard to read. It looked too bullish to look for a reversal, and bulls also looked to lose steam. Lots of sideways action and dojis, so I took a break.
When I got back we got a great-looking bull bar forming a High 2 Buy bull flag and I took it. This was the bulls’ second time to break out of the range, so I was not too comfortable with this. So I only went for 0.5R (+2.75 pts) and 1R (+5.50 pts).
After this the market chopped around in a +6 pts. trading range into the close. I decided to cut the session short—just completely untradeable.
Biggest Lesson:
Another very slow and choppy day. Really hope we can get a day with some more volume and movement soon.
But I did get in two small trades, for a measly +13.50 pts., but green is green.
